    built th400 continued...

well as some of u know i got screwed on a which was suppost to be built trans...and some of u can care less and just want to talk shit, give a hard time,be immature whatever,gtfo...heres a lil show and tell ...

    broken drum

and a ((stock)) 16 element sprag

here the piston on the left is correct, pointing at the bleed hole.the right one is the wrong one!that piston did not match the drum, which caused an absolut seal causing the drum to crack...

here in this pic,an old 70's pick up tube which is too short for a deep pan, causing the pump to run dry because it was sucking fluid from up top.

heres the right tube and parts

proper pick up for deep pan

new Red Altos clutches with kelene steels unlike the stock ones that were previously installed

    New 34element sprag!

    torrington bearings

theres much more in this newly built trans its amazing the knowledge these guys have.
pissed off but glad im the right hands now.Yes it sucks it had to be like this but i cant burn anyone more than what i have been.

    Its definately not over...

looking good! Thats a lot of the same parts in my th400. Did he get a 6 clutch drum? Mine came with a 5 clutch but certain years had 6 clutch drums. My tranny builder found me one on the interwebs
