    Wiring Accident. Help!

I was installing my custom engine harness. I needed to separate some of the harness bundling to get enough length to the crank sensor. I accidentally cut one of the crank sensor wires. I repaired the wire by splicing in a two inch piece of 18 guage wire, soldering it and heat shrinking the area. The original wire is about 22 guage which I didn't have available. Is the larger diameter wire going to throw off the sensors capability to deliver the proper message to the ECU?

Not sure what harness you have, but it won't mess with it.

Thank you for the response. Next time I'll get one of your harnesses. I got one from an ebay seller. Later, when I went on to LS1tech.com., the ebay seller was lambasted with awful responses to his product. I'm not entirely happy with the product so for because the harness length on some of the sensors is short. For instance the cam sensor is on the same bundle as the map sensor but the two are really stretched out when they are both connected. Hopefully this dude fires when all is completed.
