    Trans Coolers!!

know wonder which of the 2 would work the best...im gathering up parts for my th400 swap soon and a good trans cooler is on the list.right now i have a hayden which was like 100 bucks from oreillys...just in line at SAR it hit 240...so yea im not going to risk my next trans.

these are the 2 i have in mind now

the best B-M cooler with fan

    or the

    tru cool

i was thinking i can even add a fan on the tru cool.

anyone running one of the 2?how are your temps?what trans?

Subscribed, I was actually going to post a thread similar to this! I like the overall looks and simplicity of the B&M one, I was looking at the same one I think at Summit Racing. Do the coolers with the fans work really well compaired to just the regular ones as shown in the second picture?

Ya run that hoe loooooow to if you have a brake duct opening on ur bumper put it there along with a fan!! You will be happy if u got wind coning in on it plus a fan! Behind grill sometimes is lil cramped and not alot of flow coning thru!! Ive thought bout relocation my 40k to where my tow hooks were and cut out the filled in fog light plastic so its directly in site of holes! Add couple lil fans and itll be golden! Lemme find a pic

There is more air coming in your grill than anywhere else. That's why the radiator is there.

I have 2 of the biggest b&m coolers with a fan on both. But they are up under my bed, when they were up front I didn't need fans, but just added them when I relocated them to the rear. I street drive it regularly, and never gets over 160, at track even hot lapping it never goes over 180. Mine is not going though the radiator also.

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

I run one of the big B&M and bypassed radiator also. Only drove about 7 miles with it last night but it didn't get above 160.

Most sports require one ball, motocross requires two.

Racing isn't a matter of life and death, it's much more important than that.
