    Fuel Tank Help

I am installing a 5.3 out of an 04 Tahoe into a 1955 Chevy suburban. Looking at installing a fuel tank from a 95 GMC that had a 350 TBI engine.

Does anyone know if this pump came with an internal fuel pump? Would it be an OK choice for an internal pump if it didn't have one, and what pump would you guys recommend? If this ain't the one, what tank should I be looking for. Don't want to spend a bunch of money for an after market tank.

    Thanks for the help.

Yes the 95 came with a internal fuel pump. But the pump will not support the fuel pressure needed for a ls motor. You can easily swap the intank pump for a walbro or similar pump that will support the pressure.

And do you know if the fuel sender could feed the 3/8 fuel line because if I remember on my 94 the fuel sender have a 5/16 feed and 1/4 return.

Yes the 255 would be fine. The feed is 3/8 and return is 5/16. Remove the assembly from the tank and replace the pump. New pump should come with a install kit consisting of connector and a peice of new rubber hose. Undo the clamps on the stock one and install the new one. Pretty simple.
