    T case help

Ive got an 04 4l80e goin into a 93 fs blazer. I found 2 transfer cases a np241 and a 261. the 241 is out of a 98 and the 261 out of an 04 I think. Which should I choose. Are the range switches the same on both.

I'd use the 261, as it's bigger/beefier. It should also match the spline count of the 80's output shaft and bolt right up.

What are these range switches you're referring too? They're both 2.72:1 I believe.

If you do the 261 make sure and put a "case saver" kit. Otherwise the pump wears through the front of the case and you'll be tearing it apart anyways.
However, it'll handle a lot more torque than a 241 and you won't need to change the imput shaft.

Not sure if you are sfa or not but if so the 95-98 241s dont have slip yokes on them. I would run whichever one you prefer. I dont see the 241 breaking or having any issuues.
