Ls1 intake swap belt and throttle cable troubles

I swapped to an ls1 intake a few weeks ago and have been having major troubles with the belts throwing. I think my problem is in the alignment of the tensioner. I used the dirty dingo tensioner relocate kit and am running a 101.5" belt. i am using the stock tensioner off the 01 truck 5.3 motor with a few washers as spacers to help with the alignment. I originally grinded down the mounting points of the truck tensioner cause it seemed to stick out too much. I am also running the truck pulley on an f body water pump. In addition to the belt throwing, im also running the 98 vortec throttle cable and stock ls1 f body throttle cable bracket. I notice the throttle is not going WOT 100%. So to those who have done the swap, what tensioner r u running and what tensioner. BTW my swap vehicle is an 87 chevy shortbed truck

Stock tensionor should work fine....there's a how to in the front page section made by blue Cajun that's a pretty good way of doing it. As for cable I'd just get a lokar adjustable cable...they're pretty cheap...think I paid $55 for one

When you are thru with it, it looks just one off camaro, and no you can't use one off camaro because of the way cable attachs to bracket is different, iff you got a buddy with a F body you can look at that and know excatly what I'm talking about but I will take pics tomorrow if I get the chance.
