    LQ4 and T56 trans Help

    heres my plan i want to swap a LQ4 into my 03 silverado Short bed. my problem is that i have the 5spd trans and i want to stay Manual. now ive been told by some that the T56 out of GTO is a good replacement for the stock setup. what i would like to know is what am i going to have to do to install this trans will there be any cutting or need for new drive shaft please if any one has any experience please help and any pointers for the project are greatly appreciated

    Try using the search option. Since you're already a manual trans it will be easier for you to swap to the t-56.

    Need a car flywheel and clutch, GTO starter too. T-56 bolts into the truck fine.

    Fbody T56 will allow you to use a 4l60e driveshaft
    you will need to either get the front hole conversion for the T56 to use youre shifter or cut a new hole in the floor
