If I install 6.0 .heads on my 5.3, do I oder bolts for the 6.0 or 5.3, or are they the same? I know it may seem like a dumb question but its something I didn't know so I figured I would ask.

6.0 heads on a 5.3 is a bad decision but if your going to go thru with it, then get the bolts that match that year block you have
2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance
2014 Xsport- 3.5 Eco boost

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference
May I ask why? I kinda of thought it was a common thing with boosted 5.3's. I guess I'm still learning on the LS engines, most of my experience is on big nitrous fords. But don't the 6.0 heads lower the compression a reasonable amount, therefore being better for high hp turbo engines?
I would like to know why you say it is a bad idea, I'm all up for learning anything new with these engines.

the cc of the 6.0 heads will drop you quite a bit...but who says you need low compression to be boosted...

I guess that is the old school way of thinking.

I think if your going for super high hp lower is better. But it'll be a turd outa boost. There's alot to read on this. I did a ton and I stayed around 10.6:1 for my setup
