    88-98 rear axle W/G80

    I have a rear axles from my 96 2dr 2wd Tahoe. The rear axles was replaced for a 6lug axles .

    List of specs
    1) G80 factory positraction unit
    2) 3.42 gears
    3) drum Brakes

    Hmmm, if you were closer. Also, do you have a thread on converting to 6lug? I was contemplating this as well. Although the OEM Posi would be an easier swap.

    how many miles is on it? how good are the drums and shoes ect.

    The only reason I done the 6lug swap was finding a narrowed r6lug rear for areally good price.

    On the 6lug swap
    1) light duty front rotors for the front
    2) either new axles or the rear or a whole thing like I did..
