Who Uses Their DD 2 Go Fast?!

I thought this would be an interesting thread to start up... I wanna know who uses their DD to mod for their race truck, what mods they have, and how they would rate their reliability on a scale of 1 to 10. Include hp tq 1/4 times if you like or can..

I've known people that use the DD + Racetruck method and others that use the DD Racetruck method lol. I am one of those that is saving cash to mod the hell out of the next truck i buy soon for my DD. Basically I am seeing how far all of you take it on your DDs and who all this works out for and who it doesn't because I find it very interesting and bad a$$ when some pulls up with A/C that just got off work in a truck and sucks the paint off of a Street Car... There's NOTHING better!

Ill go first with my current truck..
2005 ccsb 5.3
Mods- 3.73 gears with eaton limited slip posi, airaid cai, true dual flowmaster exhaust(mistake), and NP tune.
I know my truck runs a high 14 in cold weather and low 15 when it is hot... If my truck had a quill sticking out of it for every time my foot has been put in it; it would look like a porcipine lol and the 4l60e has lasted me 50000 miles and counting... Everything has.. knock on wood... Reliability 10

Ive always done the Race/DD. Currently my truck is rockin LT's, ORY, a tune, F-Body fans, and just got done putting in a cam last night. As far as reliability, not sure how she'll do with the cam. Before it was definitely a 10 though.

In tuning in to this thread cuz I for one plan on modding the piss out of my dd. Gotta get rid of the 20s so I can be in sleeper mode. Not to concerned with gas milage as long as its reliable hp. Ive got cai, headers, egr block off, no cats, 411s, and a tune, 195,000 on the clock and it dont use a drop of oil and I stress test it every time I get in it!

hell yeah with the big heavy crew cab 4x4... i love this truck and hearing 12s cause that makes me want one so much more....

Check out my truck, I daily drive it, driving it tomorrow to work, it runs well and everything works on the truck, ran a 12.01 soon to be in the 11's! I even run it in 100+ degree weather!
