    Ls1 or ls2 into 88 shortwide stepside.

I want to put a ls1 or ls2 6speed combo into my shortwide. Where is a good place to find cheap combos with harness computer and everything? Whatever motor I get I will modify in some ways and i want to order a narrowed 9 inch rear end. How much should I narrow it? I would also like a deep lip on the rear rims and i cant order those till i do the rear, too and the more rubber meets the road the best. Another thing is is that I was talking to someone and the said I shouldn't bag it either with all of this...what do u think?

Any ideas on suspension setup. It could be from anywhere from 450-500hp and I could go big with a turbo

Sounds like a great build. Do a search for Caltracs for traction.

What about bagging the truck with quite a narrowed 9 inch ( don't know how much to narrow yet) and all the power

Build the rear into a four link setup and the rearend wont care what type of spring you use.
