Transmission pressures
I have been playing with my Superchips Handheld Flashpac (I know get a tune...lol)adjusting the shift points and such. However, when it comes to the transmssion pressure I am unsure of the positive/negative effects. I read somewhere that you do not want to increase your pressure due to premature tranny wear and failure. I also heard that you could increase the pressure with just the normal wear and tear. By the way it is the stock 4L60E tranny with only a corvette servo installed and a 125K miles on it. So I am just looking for any type of information on the subject... The reason I am asking is because I like a good firm shift, but with my new born child I do not want it to shift so hard that it chirps the wheels and risk tearing up the tranny prematurely.
