    traded the k10 silverado

been kinda fed up with the ol silverado for awhile ive replace just about everything and when the time comes i need it for something it would go down and over all i just got tired of it sitting and taking my money. i put it on craigslist awhile ago and didnt get may bites but i put it back up friday and the third person who called saturday about it got it. lol we did a trade i got a 92 z28 heritage car outa the deal white with red stripes thing is loaded stock other than a flowmaster muffler which ill ditch for a magnaflow most likely. was told the original owner had the motor and trans redone but idk how much truth there is without me contacting that person. it has one dent on the pass side fender where it was backed into. its a lb9 700r4 2.73 g80 car has factory bose everything power even mint condition power seats. car holds 50+lb of oil pressure at anything above idle and lowest ive seen it go was 20 at 230deg engine temps with a/c on and 5w30 oil. car has 253k on it but like i said it may be rebuilt also have no smoke on startup or anytime oil trans fluid and antifrezze all look clean. car will chirp 2nd everytime. anyway enough of me rambaling here are some pics an a video.

Nice car. Always liked the 92's. Now just swap a 6.0 in there and hate on some mustangs. Oh, I'm digging the ice cycle lights. Christmas in July, huh?

Yeah gona miss the ol truck it would run hard but I really wanna find a 2wd short bed and build it. Would be fun to drop in a 6.0 but I've already done a lsx swap in my 86t/a lol its no where near as pretty as the camaro yet but runs great lol. Had it almost 8 years more or less gutted it and started over I'm about to tag it and have it on the road again.ill prob keep the camaro stock or atleast that's my intention for now but we will see how long that lasts. Oh and the christmas lights the wife still complains that I haven't got them down lol. She started too that's why there only on half the house. I kept putting it off cause we had a wet winter and the yard would stay too soggy to hold a ladder safely.

Looks good. I wanted a 92 more than any other car when I was 12.

its my first tpi car and i think the first tpi ive ever driven and being a 305 its torquey for what it is. ive had 5 of these cars and all were carbed or like my 86 ta it was carbed and had a few diff motors and now its lsx with fuel injection but still feels diffrent than the tpi. looked up the specs and this one was rated at like 205hp and 285 tq. gona find someone to repaint the front bumper and fix the fender dent where it meets the bumper and ill prob ditch the flowmaster for a magnaflow otherwise im gona keep it stock. or try to.

Its nice to have a thirdgen as a dd though. I love driving my yukon but I just tripped 100k and its been my dd for 3 years the trans pan is starting to drip some so it would be a good time for me to actualy put that shift kit in I've had forever lol. Plus the car is getting upper teens/low 20s on gas where I was getting 13-15 in town with the yukon and I only live a mile from work. Like I said I'm gona try to keep the car stock-ish lol I know I'm gona change the exhaust to a full 3in mandrel magnaflow maybe throw some 3.42s in it the 2.73s suck for tooling around town.

Haha forgot about this thread I made. Well so far since I've had the car its gotten a 3in magnaflow catback 3in magnaflow cat new moog springs 750/120 spring rates but cut for ride height. Vette servo picked up some ceramic coated headers for it for $100 gona build a 3in y pipe for it over the witer along with a small stall shiftkit upper/lower intake portking and a small cam. I started autocrossing again and I got the bug from it I believ lol.
