    HID Bulbs

I'm getting ready to order some HID's soon, and heard people talking about that DDM were the best ones to get, but I don't know what kind of bulbs I need.. I need to know the bulbs for the Low Beams and Fogs because I plan to get those soon..

    Thanks!

DDMtuning.com is best for the price range IMO. You don't need to get slim ballasts, but that is what I have... although their Raptor kit is just as good. I'm guessing it's for an 04 GMC since your sig, in that case you'll need a set of 9006's for the low beams and a pair of H10's (9145) for the fogs. Rule of thumb is the lower you go in K temp rating, the better the light output (best is ~4500/5000k) and the more yellow they get, the higher you go the more blueish/purpleish they get. Most people get 6000/8000k's. I'd run a 35 watt kit to be safe, there has been problems with 55 watt bulbs overheating fog light housings in the past.

I was thinking about getting the 55 watt, but guess I'll take the 35 then.. I was looking at getting the Diamond White ones which are 6000k or 5000k I think.. I'm most likely gonna get the Raptor package as it doesn't really matter how big/small the ballast is I have a lot of engine space..

DDM has some of best bang for the buck. But they have been known to be very slow shipping sometimes up to 2 weeks for delivery. I run the 55w 10k and even with smoked lights I see very well. One set is over 2 yrs old and work flawless

JSYK, if they don't work at first when you have them set up, disconnect the connector at the bulb and reverse the polarity, it's gotten a lot of people in the past that think their lights are faulty. IIRC, DDMs connector isn't very intuitive in that it plugs in the opposite way you think it should.

Yeah, I figured that.. for the plug there was a positive side and a negative side, and my headlight plug didn't have any writing on it to let me know which one is +/- so when they didn't work just flipped them and they worked.. They were hard as **** to get on though, especially because I don't have the stock headlights... Where did you guys mount your ballasts at? I dropped my lowbeam one behind my corner lights and put my fog lights right behind the other ballasts, hope they don't fall out..
