    Great... Another FNG...

Hello all, its Josef & Tiffiny from Baton Rouge. We have a 96 Sierra Z71 ecsb that has been in my wife's family since it was new and it's a permanent member of our family. He's a bit sluggish with 175k miles on the clock and some strange noises are coming from the tranny so, it's time to consider replacing it all at once. My father had a '00 Sierra ecsb 5.3 and it was still going strong @ over 260k miles when he sold it. My intentions are to swap in a 5.3/4l60 from a newer (non drive by wire) vehicle for obvious reasons. Other than that, we have a few Mustang GTs that aren't to be messed with

pick away!!! it's my first swap & it's definitely a learning experience but i'd be more then happy to share the things i've learned & still learning with you.

as far as the mustang, it has an AJE k-member so with different motor mounts you can put a 302 in it just as easy.

What's up fellow coonass?? I'm interested in your swap, might pick your brain when I start mine. I'm not looking for earth shattering performance, just better reliability/drivability over the OEM shat. As for the crossbred mustang, gasp, I'll keep my ears open!!
