I'm not too good at guessing, but I can tell you, at least you'll see is .3 tenths, at the most 1.3secs hahah, just what I've seen.

I'd have to guess about .6 in the 1/4. With those mods and no tune I'm sure your truck is a bit off, especially if you've installed the intake.

I see a pic of those msd coils, are they on the truck and if so, how do you like them? I ask because my plug gap is at a tight .030, I'd like to increase it a bit, but it gets blown out with the boost. I think I need more spark.

    thanks,

Yeah, Allen, you need to get the MSD coils. The newest models have the multi discharge spark you typically associate with MSD. That ought to keep the candles lit with that 10lbs of boost.

Would those new coils be of much service to a internal stock 5.3L? All I have is intake, exhaust, 160 thermo, and nelson tune?

the coils are nasty.. they are multiple spark coils it sucks because they cost a shitload beacuse theyre 60 bucks a piece as opposed to 60 bucks for 1 but whatever ls1's rule

I think those coils will come after the headers and efans for me. so give it a couple of years and I will be sporting them. Orrrr, I could just hope to win the lotto and buy a turbo!
