From what I've read, the Bosch 044 is an external pump. I've also heard of people running the bosch 044 inside the tank. How many of you are running the bosch 044 inside the fuel tank and how reliable is it? I only ask because I'm a little hesitant to run a pump inside the tank that is not designed to be run inside the tank. Thanks in advance

we installed ours outside the tank it is not an inside tank pump i dont beleive...

they make parts screen/pre filter to install them in the tank... most people run them inline cause its easy... but either way u have a good pump ! about time !!
I haven't upgraded my fuel pump just yet. However, when I do open up the tank again, I want to put a STELLAR fuel pump in that will be able to make some good power and still be reliable. I'm stuck between the bosch 044 and the new aeromotive 340.

I am along with 4 other guys on pt that I know of.. 2+ years, no issues..
