    1993 GMC 4x4 350 ot 5.3 swap

I've been reading and researching the swap and have found the different adapter plates and flex plates and things of that nature. One of my questions i have is in reguard to my 4L60E thats in my truck. Can I use this transmission with the ls pcm? I'd really like to use it since it was just rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago. can someone pleas shed a little light on what all is involed in a ls swap in a 4x4 truck?

    Thanks,

From what I have found out in getting ready for my swap, your tranny will work just fine but you will need to swap the internal tranny harness and the tranny plug for a 95 and newer harness. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Thanks but I got the tranny situation resolved. I ended up getting the entire engine and tranny from a 2001 chevy truck. Now I have a few more questions can someone please help me with. Does the powersteering lines have the same ends as the OEM p/s pump for the truck? And also how are people integrating the a/c lines? I'm looking to keep the stock accessory configuration on the 5's so i'm gonna make any frame mods I have to mae everything fit. I have a buddy that gonna help me with all the wiring problems and I bought a tuner to take care of all the vats and claibration needs. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations as to what I may run into doing this swap?

    Thanks,

I think you can just use the PS lines that are on your 95 now. Seems like they are the same, not 100% on that though.
For the AC, go to docsblocks.com , they have the adapters you need to go to a standard -8 and -10 set up. There are 2 types of compressors for 2001, so pay attention to the fittings. Some have 1 block for both lines and some have 1 for each.
Use your shifter cable and bracket from your 95.

The PS lines from the 02 Camaro fit right into mine.

Ok thanks I'll give those a try, my buddy told me that if we couldn't find any that would there's a couple places around town that can make me a set. Looks like I'm going to go ahead and freshen up the tranny since I have to disasseble it to change the output shaft anyway I found everything I need to reuild it for $250 convertor included. Also I have the interior with all the wiring for a 98 truck how difficult would it be to make the 98 gauges work with the 5.3? My wiring for the 93 was butchered when I bought it.
