    Trans Flush Question

Okay im pretty mechanicly inclined but enough to get me in trouble lol so this might be a stupid question but i have a 4L65E, what kind of filter do i need to use? what fluid do i use? and is it true that a simple flush by pulling the pan doesnt flush everything? if so do i just pour more and more trans fluid till it shows full on the dip stick? just any kind of simple stuff im gonna need to know would be great help guys.....now i know this may be a long shot but while im down there is there any way to adjust my 1st gear PSI a lil bit like is it as easy as turning a scre 1/4 turn in lol not sure thanks for the info guys

Just pulling the pan does not "flush the system" in fact alot of the fluid will still be in the converter. If you want it "flushed" you will need to take it to a shop, they can hook it to a machine and will get all the old fluid out. As far a the filter, just go to Napa and have them look it up. I think if you want a little firmer shift that can be accomplished with a tune, firmer than that get a shift kit and a tune...

my output shaft (shot pinned) so i can handle a harder shift and ya i can get a tune to change that but while the pan was down i didnt know if it was as easy as tightening a screw or something
