    2wd transmission tailpiece

Im looking for a 2wd tailpiece for the 4l60e. My tranny was a 4wd and I took the manual 4wd t-case off and want to convert it to a 2wd. Does anyone have one in Texas? I have a set of 15" Wheels with MT ET Street slicks on them Im down to trade along with cash if necessary

I'm pretty sure your output shaft is too short with a 4wd transmission.

Yes, you have to swap output shafts. To do that the trans has to be completely disassembled.

I wouldnt need to change the input shaft as well do I? I guess the best thing would be to get one from OPT like the billet 300mm built one since Im taking the tranny apart anyways right?

if you're going to be making power...why not just get a built 2wd trans? or (jumping on band wagon) put a 80 in it
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
