    8.5/8.6 Question

I bought a used G80 to put in my 92 Model, I bought bearings yesterday but they have a smaller ID than the snout of my new differential. I am not sure if I have the correct bearings and may have a later model 8.6 or maybe they gave me the wrong bearings. I haven't pulled my old unit out yet because I wanted to have everthing lined up ahead of time to go back in. My new G80 has an 081 on one side of it and a 9C06 and a WF3 on the other side if this helps.

Well did some online research and will answer my own question, The unit I bought has a bearing ID of 1.781 which is an 8.6 the 8.5 has a bearing ID of 1.625, I can get special bearings to use the 8.6 in my 8.5 axle housing. The bearings are LM-102949 and the races are LM-102911
