    Motor Diagnostics

    Well pulled my ls1 because it had a lot crank case pressure and it pushing oil up the dip stick. I broke the motor down and tooks some picture. Let know what you guys think.

    looks like rings installed wrong
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s

    Yea I hope it that easy. All 8 cylinder hole look the same, so I don't know. We will find out when the motor goes to the machine shop.

    yeah seams like when the rings were filed there were some sharp edges/ bers left...

    looks like you've got an issue with detonation. And maybe an issue with dirty assembley. how long has it been together? who did the work?
