    driver side power window quit working?

    just like the tital says. what do i need to test? it was working strong up and down then just quit. please help i cant stand my window not working!

    its on a 05 RCSB sierra pw,pl,pm

    how do i tell? both wires going to the motor are grounded at all times. how much is a regulator?

    Usually the cable that raises and lowers the window breaks ,alot of times you can see it. Cost about $125 for the dealer

    the cables in the regulator are bad about binding up and breaking but if they did you would hear the motor turning when you hit the button up or down.also the ddm(window switch) is common for going out on the 03-06 classic 07.take your door panel off and unplug pigtail going to motor,test for power when you hit the button up and down.the way it sounds you got a bad ddm.keep in mind if you replace it with a new one,it has to be reprogramed by dealer.
