A/c clutch turns on and off every 10-15 sec????

ok well my a/c is still blowing cold but i just noticed that the a/c clutch cycles every 10-15 seconds and my rpms drop 100-300 rpms?? what couls be the issue? its a 06 silverado that i bought brand new and its never had the a/c touched or ever wrecked so i dont think its low on freon . maybe the high pressure switch or something???

Unless the AC is on HIGH, it should cycle. It kicks in til the pressure comes up, then cycles off. 10-15 seconds seems a little excessive though. Check the pressure with a gauge, might be a little low.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

Pull the electrical connector and see if there's any green stuff in it, we've seen the ports/pressure sensors leak over time.

If there is any freon or die or anything under the connector, it's leaking and needs to be replaced, then refilled.

does this only occur at idle rpms? if you give it some throttle does it fix it self? if so a few tables in the tune need adjusted
