    Predator tuner?

In know I know I will get a custome tune later! After cam and headers etc. Got a screaming deal on a predator tuner for my 01 6.0l hd 4x4 though. So im gonna use it. My question is has anyone run there performance tune with low grade fuel? Or can you run the 89 tune and also turn off torquemanagment and mod some other things at the same time. I know this is kinda a newbie question!! Just looking for some advice. I do tow an 18" trailer and bikes etc. Thanks agian. It has CAI and Cat back etc

I wouldn't advise running their performance tune on 89, I'd run the 91 that's recommended. You can modify parameters just fine using Diablo's tunes. I'd suggest first uploading the performance tune, driving 50 miles or so, then do a log and get your LTFT's in check. Use the guide located here: http://diablosport.com/index.php?nam...&t=917&start=0

Well for $100 you got a pretty good deal like you said, they're about $330 new... you could probably sell it for around $200... like you said, I'd give it a run while you have it, the predators for the NBS are a lot better than the NNBS because they have TCM support. I'd at least load up the tune and see how you like it, then make it your deciding factor since HPT or EFI Live costs a good chunk more... You could always go the mailorder route too which wouldn't be too much more than what you could sell it for... around 300 or so... check out www.nelsonperformance.com. Good luck

you paid 100 bucks for a reason. i wouldve just set the 100 off to side and wait to purchase the HP tuners or NP tune. you wont get much profit from it. Since you bought it, you should go ahead and play with it anyway.

Is the predator unlocked? I bought a predator before, and had to send it to diablosport to have it unlocked. The older predators only work on one vehicle, newer ones might be different...
