4L80E swap... starts in 2nd and won't downshift or respond.

Just went for the first drive tonight since new engine, turbo, t-case and 4L80E swap on a nelson tune. Put a 3400 circle D 258mm converter in with the new trans. Feels like its stuck in 2nd gear and the service brake check engine light constantly flashes... i did the wiring modifications for the 4l80 and added the speed sensor in on the harness. it WILL shift but only after you reach about 45-55mph. and then it reverberates back through the powertrain 2 or 3 times when the converter locks up in what i think is third gear. Turning about 2700-2900rpm at 65 mph with 4.10's. It DOES NOT respond to moving the gear selector while driving or sitting still. Hills are impossible. it will not pull until about 4000rpm and then it sets you back hard but the turbo spools about 3000rpm yet it still does not pull until 4K. it just does whatever it wants to. The trans builder is WELL known around south carolina for the best transmissions for performance and racing. So i'm ruling out a transmission fault as of right now. Could i have possibly screwed up a wire somewhere? This is baffling me! I specified a 4.10 gear swap the last tune before this turbo tune. Could he have possibly left the tune at 3.42? Because at 45 the speedo reads about 60.

Make sure the PRNDL switch is clocked properly.
Make sure the wiring is right, sounds like it's not, because a trans will start in 2nd gear when something isn't hooked up right.
I'll check the gearing tomorrow in the tune, but even if it's not tuned right for the gears, it should still shift fine.
I'll make sure the 80e cal is there.

send me a pm to remind me, i'll let you know tomorrow.

either the OS isnt correct or the wiring.

2nd gear is the default forward gear so incase all else fails you can make it home

Thanks for the help. I hope it just a wiring fault but its only 2 wires to swap and 2 to add so its kinda hard to screw that up lol. I will definitely recheck my wires to make sure. Someone refresh my memory on which wires to which locations please. I believe the white and brown wire were swapped at the trans connector and the speed sensor was added to 22 and 23. But thats just off of memory. Thanks!

Problem solved!!! Tune was still set for 3.42 gears.. which for some reason sets major codes in my truck and the speedo quits working after a few miles.... and the shift solenoid A which controls 1-2 shift was bad. So a 14 dollar solenoid fixed that issue... now waiting for the retune to show up. Thanks allen and quik...
