ha, just messing around. ya, i love it, i train about 4-5 times a day. nonstop stand up, ground and then cardio (not that the other stuff isn't cardio).
i just wish i was 10years younger to persue it.

some like it, most don't, it's gonna make or break you. one thing i noticed about most gyms, they all like to do ground and submission. our school is primarily stand up, so you get used to getting hit.
I prefer stand up of course, but we do have a submission class after ours.

So i guess i'm trying to say, don't get caught up in all ground, nothing wrong with that at all, it's an art form, but i was just at a pro fight, as a spectator this week, and the majority of the guys were scared to get hit.
Ground and stand up have their advantages, so do both, a fighter really shines when he's well rounded.
I learned my lesson, so I do some ground every now and then to stay fresh on it, hence my 0 -2 record, lol, submitted both times.
I can only think about October coming up so i can put myself to the test again, after another 2 years of training; I'm feeling pretty confident.

i think your boxing will come in handy.

let us know how it goes, there are a few who are interested in mma here,

    later,
    allen
