    wondering if!

so if i were to come across on a good deal on a 5.3l and were to get it.

is there a way this could be stroked to a 347? or something someone mentioned earlier an ls1 rotating assembly 243 heads and a cam

i dont plan to do no big drag shoot out at the strip. i might run there now and then but all i want is a wild street machine. with some decent gas mileage and maybe a shot of nos or something on it also. but what are some options with a 5.3 boring wise and stroking or different assemblys

it doesn't need to stroked but it does need to be bored to 3.898 or 3.903 or something like that. If you stoke it it would be a 383. I think that there is a build thread on a couple of them some where

you could do much better with a bigger cam than that. ls6 is ok for Forced Induction but for NA there are much better out there.
