i pulled the heads off my 6.0 installed cam etc put in new gaskets and re installed the head bolts but was told they were torque to yeild but wasnt sure if i would be ok reusing them

so hypothetically, what would happen if they failed if you did reuse them...
maybe not enough clamping force, maybe one breaks when tightening it down...
i bet it would work, but i'm not finding out lol

almost all gm headbolts are 'one time use' people reuse them all the time. I would never do it in the silvy...but I've done it on other cars with alot less power (2.2 s10 and 3.1 monte carlo come to mind)
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
