    heavy duty engine oil cooler

Looking for suggestions on a heavy duty oil cooler kit for a nnbs 07 Silvy 4.8, but I don't necessarily need one with a temp sensor/gauge setup yet. Im trying to get all my temps down as much as possible before I start saving for my turbo. All my searches turned up pretty vague, so wanted to check with you guys to see what was best before I got a generic kit

    Thanks
    Chris

i say stack it, get a frame rail cooler and mount it on your k-member run the lines through that to a 12 plate heat exchanger in the grille and then run the line back to the trans, then put a cooling fan on the stacked plate cooler.

Get a radiator with an oil cooler in it. Then add another cooler if you feel the need. I added a B&M 70297 - B&M Hi-Tek SuperCoolers with Fans - Overview - SummitRacing.com and used the lingenfelter adapter Lingenfelter Performance Engineering: Lingenfelter GM LS1, LS6 & LS2, LS3 Oil Cooler Adapter Kit
My oil cooler fan never kicks on. It just never gets that warm. It was expensive. Fittings and all that jazz adds up.
