    how fast???

    hey what do u all think a 5.3 fully bolted will run in the 1/4? headers, cai, catback, nelsons tune, and vet servos

    nobody's gonna be able to guess a time without knowing year/body style, cab/bed config, 2 or 4wd, wheel/tire size/gears, etc.

    just throwing numbers around, my best is 15.8.
    that's a 4x4 RCSB - 5.3/5 spd, 31" tires/3.73s
    spun a bit through 1st & had to double-clutch 2-3, so i reckon there's another .2-.3 more to be had

    that's just with a CAI, catback, & black bear 93 tune

    04 ecsb 5.3- perfectly tuned by Nelson perfomance, Pacesetter longtubes, 100 shot n2o from NX, cold air intake.
    03 rcsb charbroiled (race truck eventually)

    heres my 5.3 history

    stock, 15.6, 259 rwhp
    nelson tune and cai 14.8- on street tires
    cam boltons stall 13.7- on street tires, 341 rwhp
    cam boltons stall heads tbss intake, 13.- drag radials HP UNK
    i need a better 60' on motor. get a 3600 stall id hit 12s on motor.

    oh and its a 2005 silverado 4170 lbs with me in it.

    My bolt on Nelson tuned with an open diff, stock tires and 3.42s went 14.7

    my gen 2 5.7 did a 13.5 stock lol so u should beat that

    sry guys been out of town all day... but i have a 2004 ext cab with a 5.3 4x4. i have 20in rims on nitto 2/85 dune grapplers. i have shortie headers, cai, cat back exhaust, nelson's 9 tune, and vette servos.... what would she run? lol

    then why the heck is mine so freakin slow? my 15.8 wasn't the best it could've been, but it sure wasn't bad.
