Wheels and tires for the strip?

What kind of set-ups do you guys run when you are at the strip?

I am looking into getting a set of D/Rs for the rear of my truck. I am wondering what I should do for the front cuz I have front Baer brakes which require me to run at least an 18in wheel. I have some 275/65/18 tires on denali wheels for the front, but idk if thats too tall of a diameter to match to a rear tire of 27 or 28 in tall.

    any thoughts?

Last time out, I used 28x11.5x16 ET streets, they didn't hook for shit. Next time out i will be using hoosiers.. If you are making alot of power i would rec a set of tires with a decent side wall, not a low pro style tire..

what kind of stock wheels did you use? It looks like those tires are supposed to be used with a 10 in wide rim? What kind of front wheels and tires did you use?

Would it not be a good idea to run 32 in front tires and 26 through 28 in rears?

I run stock wheels and tires up front (270/55/16). I use the stock wheels that came on my truck. The ET Streets work fine on them and there are a lot of people running them as well.

I think my rig will prolly put down around 400 rwhp&tq. I am thinking 16in wheels in the back so yes the tires will have some meat on them.
