My encounter with the typical mustang owner outside of a Napa

So I’m at the local Napa looking for a pulley puller to get the crank harmonic balancer/pulley off on my 5.3 project motor. After looking around and them not having one I started chewing the fat with the guys behind the counter, I’m a reg in there and know everyone who works there. I was bullshitting then all of a sudden this older red neck came in and started swearing and giving the guys behind the counter a hard time about something having to do with paint and them not being able to mix it to his "special specifications" so the guy I was talking to went on brake so we both went outside to continue our conversation with out the verbal droning that was going on inside. I was in the middle of talking to the guy about this nice last gen that came out NA 240 that a local owns and this is how it went

Me: I wonder how I would do against that 240
Napa guy: I don’t know he’s a local who’s family has a ton of money
    (Red neck comes out)
Red neck: I’ll race you, what you got
    me: that red chevy truck
red neck: you want to race people in that led sled?!?!
me: yea I would like to see how I would do
red neck: I would be in your wallet so quick, and leave you so fast from the line I could meet you on my way back
    me: is your car stock?
red neck: yep. What do you have that lard ass of a truck
    me: a lsx motor
red neck: yea. So your saying its slow, those motors are junk
    me: ok..Ill race you
Napa guy: I want to know how it go’s
Me: ok, ill be right back

So the red neck names the spot, I jump back into my truck. The red neck gets into his car and dose a huge one wheel burn out as he takes off at a high rate of speed down the hill and I lose sight of him. So I show up to the race spot he named that is less then 1/2 a mile from Napa and nothing, he’s no were to be found. Now I’m wondering how would I do vs a stock 88 mustang 5.0 with a 5 speed and a open diff??

if that mustang is auto youd definitely smoke em but if its standard and the guy can drive i still think youd pull on him...but it all depends on how well that 5.0 was taken care of haha

    ..I just sold my 5.0 =(

It would be a good race! mustang prolly cant find traction through first if he guns it. I know i couldnt haha so if you can youll get him...Very good race to see!!! 5.0s need more horsepower. The torque is there but lacking on the horses..
Flowmax muffler FTW haha, off-road y pipe, 90 mm TB, TBSS intake, Real low!, needs to be tuned
