    wont start

    finally took out the v6 and put in a 4.8 im getting fire to the plugs and fuel to the rail but the truck wont start, anybody got any suggestions

    Does it try to start and then immediately die or just nothing?

    Have you checked the fuel pressure?

    Where are you in OK?

    These motor's and ECM's are very ground picky!!!

    Good point about the grounds. Check both of the ones on the back of the block.

    im in mcalester the grounds are good it just turns over hasnt tried to fire up yet

    are the fuel rails backwards, lol i did that on mine the first time

    oh well dude I would double check everything. I mean G touched it, he probably put the motor in backwards
