Chris @ Circle-D did me a huge favor the Friday before the SAR event. I burned up the trans on the dyno the Thursday before and he built me a new converter and had the tranny shop replace the clutches in the tranny that friday (same day turn around). When I got it all back together, the converter was having some major issues (locking up as soon as the truck started rolling), and prevented me from participating in the SAR festivities. I refered to the truck/tranny/converter as being a "piece of sh*t" in another post on this website. Well, long story short the problem was not in the converter, and had nothing to do with anything Circle-D did. The problem ended up being a stuck lock-up solenoid in the tranny (not a typical problem, and rarely replaced) as a result of the trash from the burned up clutches. Its been replaced, and all is well. Thanks Chris.

A lot of guys on pt are loving his converters, if/when I ever need another one Ill definitely be going by his shop to get one

Ha, yea but then I'll have to deal with the fire dept. I'll stick with slipping belts, no low end and busted acc. brackets. If I can ever get the truck back working as good as it was it ought to run a decent number. It picked up a little power on the dyno.

They still run mid 10s and trap just shy of 140 in the quarter

ya, love my Circle D verter. working great. Chris is an awesome guy, cant say enough about his service and product. How do I get one of those Circle D shirts?
good luck on getting the truck going and your goals. look foreward to seeing some times out of that beast.
