    LQ9 with ac in 84 chevy

    will i hav any clearance problems with the factory ac or will i need to move the ac?

    notch the frame or move it up high.

    do you gotta notch the frame alot?
    hopfully i can get trans swapped out this week or next

    pcm? what fuel pump/filter did you run on yours.

    imma switch to 87 tank just gotta find a good pump and still get instument cluster tho

    I am using a walbro intank pump, forget model #. Using the vette filter/regulator.
    Check out 67-72trucks.com, several swap, and a few who notched frame for a/c...
    I did not so I can't tell you how much.

    I "hear" brp has a swap kit that allows you to keep the ac down low without notching, but I have not seen a truck with their kit.

    That's interesting. I wonder what allows clearance for the stock compressor? Does it just mount the motor higher?

    Yeah, I wonder about this too, especially since in their pics the engine doesn't even have a compressor on it.
