GM gaskets and ARP 12 point bolts. Can't go wrong with that setup.![]()

If you don't want to ever have to mess with the bolts again, go with the ones found at: http://www.Go-breslin.com.
I've had these on my truck for over a year now with no issues at all. I ran them through a couple of heat/cool cycles before retorquing them and setting the set-screw. They're not cheap but they really work.

Yes, they take the 8 mm dimaeter X 1.25 mm thread pitch X 25 mm long bolts. It's the ones for the LS-1/LS-6. Catalog numbers are 608-026 for stainless and 008-026 for black oxide. I decided to go with the stainless.
Post up how those split bolts work! Those look pretty damn interesting...
