Whats Left on Your Shoot Out "To Do" List?

Not much left on mine. Throwing some fresh plugs and wires on tonight. Then just general clean up from there, wax, rim polish, etc. Anybody going to be burning the midnight oil between now and then?

    shootout

I know of two trucks that have had some changes before this shootout.. For myself i never leave things alone... sometimes i take a step back.. but in the big picture i feel like i am making progress for my combo. I was able to service the rear axle and change out Chipped up R/P.. service trans and torque converter.. fix rear shocks and brake lines.. get the interior out and seats for a cage.. come home and pull transmission and install super throw down race converter for sar ... Work on my tune up a little.. check valve springs and change plugs and wires.. look for anymore problems with the motor.. I flushed oil coolers and trans coolers along with fuel filers... next week is a bit of road testing and see if i can hit the rollers after i get the trans back in ... also.. forgot i have a bent axle....... so its coming apart today and going to try and have a new one machined... Then next weekend try and hit the race track for a few test hits.. bring it home and start all over

How are you setting up your line lock? Blocking off the rears from the pedal or locking in the fronts?

i was wanting to block out the rears... but i think for simplicity and time, ill just lock the fronts. its already mounted and in place, i just havent ran the wires and cut in the lines... ill post a build thread when done...

oh... and scratch off buying 2nd stage... that is now done... all fittings, noids and lines will be in my posession soon... time for 11's or a hole in the block... im heappy either way

I did the same thing. Set out to do the rear brakes but ended up locking out the fronts. It works great, and safer IMO. I have a few pics of where I mounted the solenoid posted on this site.
