My 84 is under the knife. lsx is going in this weekend.

title pretty much says it all. only thing reall special is im using y 700r4 in its stock location and dirty dingo racing in mesa, az is custom building me some adjustable mounts so i can position my engine perfect for the 700r4. and if it works out he is gonna start mass producing them so no more moving transmounts.

its not a major ordeal but if you dont want to move your trans x-member and drill new holes this new mount will allow you to place the engine right where you need it no matter what your combo is. as long as it is an lsx up front.

the mounts should be here in the next few days so i will let you know how it works out.

little side edit: im going to run it stock until the summer than i am going turbo. i have a buddy who runs an exhausr shop and he has built turbo hot sides before and he owes me a few favors. im just ready to get it running as is.

and i know ive told you before and every time i reply to you i will tell you again. i am in love with the stance and wheels on your truck. did god himself select that combo? haha

im really dragging my rear end on the pics. lol the dirty dingo mounts where damn near perfect. they where a little short and caused my oil pan to sit a little low, but he is making the changes today and going to mail out a new set for test fitting.

And for anyone wanting to do buisness with him, he is a great guy to work with. answers the phone anytime i had a question and his product quality is top notch. a little bit of a over kill if anything. i would highly recommend him.
