    Tuning program

I'm looking into buying my own tuning program so I can install my own street tunes. I have a few friends that run HPT and I've heard about EFI live and LS1 edit. I just wanted to see what program everyone here recommended for me to run on my truck?

    Thanks in advance,

    Brandon

skip on the ls1edit, way behind!

most use hptuners and efilive, just research them and see how you like each one, determine which one feels more comfortable.
i like hptuners interface/gui, much easier to use than efilive, imo.
but they both get the job done,

    good luck,

    What he said .
Have to put in a plug for EFILive , it does Custom OS (Speed Density) for no extra .
Other than that either are great HPT or EFILive .
If you use Windows Regedit a lot , EFILive will be familiar to you then .
Dl a demo of EFILive from there main website and give it a try before you buy .
Now what is a tune again?

    Comp Cam 54-412-11 , Int:265, 212, .522 , Exh: 271, 218, .529 , LSA 114 , Longtube , CAI (Vararam) , TransGo HD2 shift kit , tuned by me with EFILive

Go HP Tuners. The Tuning School from Florida are really good people to deal with. Good communication and respond to e-mails the same day. I know the Begginers guide is pricey but you can re-sell it get some of your money back and it has a cd rom explaining the more complicated tables.
