    Anyone use jet dst software?

I just bought a 04 avalanche and have added gibson shorty headers, race cats, true dual exhaust with an x flow muffler, airaid cad, tranny cooler, and corvette shift servos. My problem is that i have a z06 corvette cam and valve springs and was told i would need a tune to make it work, so i bought the jet chips dynamic spectrum tuning software and the S**T wont work, any one ever use it? is it worth a crap? or should i put it on ebay? computer geeks cant even get it to run on my laptop. any help would be great, i dont even know where to start

I have used DST many times. I don't understand why you having problems installing. I have laptop with XP Pro and install was simple. Run the Jet Flash to read up the file on your PCM. Save file to HD and edit with Jet DS Tuner. There is a book you can download from the tuning section of this forum to help you understand how to use. This program has been aroung for some time. Jet bougnt it from another company and markets it now. Good luck!

I also run jet dst and have no trouble with it. You must first read your tune off your vehicle and then you can edit and make changes. I reccomend reading some before you start since your having trouble setting up. Jet is not real user friendly, must know some tuning practices to use it.

A guy came over that had Jet and wanted some pointers , looked foreign to me , no really had most of what EFILive does but like HPTuners is a little backwards .
Look like a good tuning software though .
Could not scan with it just tune .
Now what is a tune again?

I have the original TCII which is what DST is after is was sold to JET. I have been using my software for about 5 years and never really had any issues, John still takes care of his customers but when DST was introduced by jet I hear alot of compliants that there is no customer service from JET. I'm glad I bought mine before it was sold off to JET. John gives great customer service and is very enexpensive.
