    ok im used to setting valves on older small blocks with regular hyd. cams which its a feel kinda thing you gotta kinda guess. or with a solid lifter set the valves with a feeler gauge. well ive never done a hyd roller like whats in these truck motors. how is it suposed to be done? and is it hard? my boy bluecajun said it is like a torque spec that comes on the cam card. can some one share thanks

    Hello,

    The gen III engine is very nice to work on compared to the first gen, to tighten down the rocker arm bolts, simply torque them to 22lb/ft.

    Some suggest spinning the engine over so that there is no pressure on the rocker arm.
