Need the one that has 2hi, auto, 4hi, 4lo options (believe thats what they are)
for an 05 duramax 2500 4x4 (but i don't think that's important)... anyone have one laying around? Not 100% sure that's the problem, so trying to avoid the dealership on this one.

its got the 2wd then N with a red light then a 4 low button and a 4 high button so 3 buttons and a light

It matters what year and what other equipment and like Jake said, not sure the DMax ever came with that one...
Yeah i don't think any duramax ever came with the auto 4wd, auto 4wd is is the bi curious cousin of 4hi and 4lo, its true look it up in the dictionary
