Got My Truck back, but need some help!

    Hey Guys,

I finally got my truck back yesterday after a year of it being in the shop. It put down 420 RWHP and 375 TQ. I am happy but now i get to start playing with everything else since the motor is somewhat done. I need help installing a Rear Flip kit to lower the truck to 6" in the rear. Is there anyone you guys reccomend in Houston to do this or anyone on this site that can help me?

    Thanks Guys,
    Brent

its easy unbolt everything from the rear. take leafs put them under axle insall axle saddle in between. plate on bottom. then put u bolts on and tighten.

it should come with instructions once you get the parts and get down there its pretty self explanatory.

The notch you just support the frame draw it out and start cutting. make sure you move the brake line on the driver side inside frame rail so you don't cut it in half lol

It was in the shop for a year becasue i put a New Motor, Tranny, Stall, Had a spray bar installed for nitrous. Several little issues getting woked out and my buddy owns the shop so my truck kept getting pushed to the side for vettes and higher end clients. LOL

I need moral support on doing this rear flip though. I am a DIY kinda guy and have all the tools to do this, but something is telling me to have a pro do this for a couple hundred bucks.

    Cool Bro,

I have had the kit for a year now. I'll check out the instructions. LOL

Anyone else flipped a rear end themselves?

I've never done it with a kit, just welded new perches on the axle and re-did the shock mounts. Because no one makes a kit for the Dodge I did it to

only thing that makes it difficult or time consuming is that most flip kits require you cut the frame unless you want to ride bump stops all the time.
