2001 silverado 4.3 to ls1 swap ac question

ok i have every thing ready for the swap wiring everything. i'm using the ls1 accesories. my question is both v6 and v8 ac compressors have the high pressure cutout switch on the compressor where the ls1 compressor doesn't. i know the camaro as a switch that is high and low in one switch. i'm just trying to figure out how to wire in a high pressure switch so i can have a functional ac. the easiest but most "professional" way to do it and i'm not gonna spend the extra money to get the 5.3 accesories. if anyone has any input that would be great thanks

    thank you

well i hope i have the right computer but it won't be hard for me to buy another one. right now i have a 2001 tahoe computer. i think the number is like 1220411 or something like that. i've got the 5.3 wiring harness witch i've modified and cleaned up so its not all over the top of the engine. (using the 5.3 so it all plugs directly into the body harnesses.)

i think i'm just gonna make an adapter plater to bolt the (5.3) compressor to the ls1 ac bracket. to line the pulleys up and then use the 5.3 compressor lines and then i can just wire it up like the factory harness has it so i don't have to tap any lines. what do you guys think?

Acording to what you have already told us you were using, it sounds like you have it all figured out. Your smarter than you give yourself credit for, lol. If your using the 5.3 harness, computer & compressor, and wiring the A/C system just like a 5.3, then you should be good to go. Have the system vacuumed down, introduce about 2 pounds of refrigerant, a little PAG oil, and turn it on. Maybe someone else here can read this & see if I'm missing something. Good luck.

2 lbs. is a little much, should be more like 1.6. Won't hurt anything though.
