    Good cam???

I contacted Comp Cams and gave them all of the specs on my 2000 GMC listed in my sig. The cam they spec'd was a 208/212 @ .050 .554/.558 lift and a lobe center of 115, intake center of 111. Does this cam sound good for my setup? I am looking for more midrange power and a slightly lopy idle. Also, will I need different springs with this cam?

    Thanks,
    Rubie.

that cam will sound like a stock cam

if u want a lil lop look more into the 220 duration range and get the lsa around 112

the TR220 is a proven cam for the 5.3

I am thinking about a TR220 or a custom grind with 218/218 .550/.550 112 because I dont want to rev past 6k. It will act the same just lower the rpm range I hope.

    5.3, E-fans, LPP longtubes w/offroad Y, Dual Magnaflow, K&N Cold Air, 160 thermo, Voodoo 212/218 .531/.531 113 cam, Nelson Tune, 4:11, Built 4L65E, TrailBlazer converter. SOLD
