Would you buy a G8 with Pontiac no more ?

Thinking of getting a car.

Stuck between the G8 or Infiniti M45

Both have similar power, performance and interior space.

The M45 has nicer interior with GPS Nav but you pay $10-15k for it too.

Only thing that worries me on the G8 is parts availability later on.
GM has said it is not going to continue the G8 as the Caprice.

Would you guys be worried about finding parts for a car that was only
made for 2 years, by a company that has been Nationalized and who
knows what asinine road they will take from now on ?
2002 Tahoe 4.8 - soon to be turbo'd - SOLD

2012 Raptor - 497rwhp at 10psi

i'm not 100% sure what motors are in those, but i would think that most parts are used in other vehicles as well. if later down the road, you need a door or something, you may have trouble with parts, but alternators/brakes/etc shouldnt be a problem.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

They both make good power in the 350hp range and both do 0-60 in under 6 secs
Both have outstanding handling, though the G8 does come with a limited slip rear and the M45 does not

The interior of the G8 is only thing holding me back.
It matches its price level, which is outstanding for what all you get,

but that Infiniti interior and styling is NICE

Most I would do to either is leave them bone stock and do a little twin turbo
kit on them at 8psi.

From looking on web, both should run fine and make 400+rwhp and be
solid 12 sec 4 door sedan
