Thread: Truck is broke

    Well sorry to say but my motor is (to say the least) FUBAR. Some one decided to sugar my gas tank. so im up for any suggestions on motor to go in it now. I was thinking maybe a 408 stroker????

    how would sugar lock up the motor? I can see it gumming up the
    fuel pump and injectors but seizing the motor??

    after the sugar gets warm it will crystalize as it cools off. i think there is more than sugar in there.

    if you can afford it go 408. if not go to at least a 6.0 and no less.

    well it didnt lock up knock sensers sut the motor down or at least thats what the dealer told me

    It is coveredby insurance so it might be hard to convince them thatit was a 6L instead of a 5.3
    The gas looks like motor oil only really thin its a real dark brown ill see if i can get some pics
