HELP ud pulley, won't go on!

I just pulled off my balancer, to put on an ud balancer, and the install tool from autozone isn't even close to fitting. The shaft is too wide to fit inside the crank. Is there a trick to this? Any suggestions? Truck is torn apart in driveway right now.

See if you can make friends with someone at the dealer and borrow the tools.

Use a longer bolt. Like a control arm bolt to get it started.

done.... writeup coming soon. I'm also gonna put together a kit that can be used to remove/install these, incase anyone wants to rent it, because stuff available at autopart stores just isn't meant for these motors.
