    '85 C10 6.0/4l80 project

Got my old job back. So I'm goin to show some love to my '85. It was my dd through high school and college. Figured I'd pay it back.

    I have some questions.........
I assume I can use a baffled tank from a '87, 90-91 guage cluster, walbro fuel pump.
What headers will fit? I have read, read, and read somemore and looks like none will fit.
What do I need to do to make the a/c, cruise, and speedometer and ignition to work?
Where can I get a yoke? and will my drive shaft be too long??
    Radiator?
I'm sure i'm missing alot of stuff here

On my 86, I swapped a 6.0/4l80e. Used a 91 burb cluster, everything works, need to get my ecm retuned to get the speedo right, just swapped gears...
I went with street and performance headers, pricey, but they fit without a problem and look great.
As far as a/c, depends on how you mount the motor, which plates you use. Mine is set back, and I did not want to notch the frame, so if I wanted a/c I would have to run the hiside kit.
Also, I had a 305/th350, all I had to do was get a crossover ujoint, my driveshaft was correct length.
I am using stock radiator, no problems. I did mount a set of z28 electric fans running off my ecm. Working great.
I am also using an 87 tank with 87 sender and walbro intank pump.
On your stock tranny xmember, you will have to modify, I welded a "tongue" on the backside to accomodate the 4l80e mount which is a little longer.

I dont want to notch my frame for sure. Does that mean I need to follow your path and set mine back as well? i'm just brain storming.

Both you guys have really nice trucks. I hate the wheels that I chose. I think i'm going with bonspeed but haven't made up my mind yet its a hard decision.
I'm sick and tired of the pos 305, its gutless and always something wrong with it. I'm ready to swap this thing
